Learn about Furbys university style...

Want to learn about your Furby and get an introduction to mechatronics at the same time? Well here's a university worksheet I found by mistake

I know I know I still haven't fixed the other links and I said I would and a suprising number of people have emailed me about it, so sorry - I'll try and find them. To be honest I keep forgetting I have this blog and then I remember when I'm on a night shift (like now) but I don't have access to my old hard drive here.

Broken Links

A couple of people have contacted me about broken links on the site. To be honest I didn't think anyone looked here anymore as I haven't updated it in so long.

Anyway, if I can dig out the original files then I'll re-link them.

VL-Tone again

Electromungo contacted me about the casio vl-tone bend, I sent him some fairly shoddy pictures and information about it but I'd lost most of the pictures. Anyway, he made an awesome beast called the Mungolater in a rather stylish wooden box. Here's a video of it:

Dissected Furby Art

I found this site about an exhibition made with over 400 dissescted Furby's. I'm especially liking the Furby Anatomy pages (left) and this odd video.

Circuit bent CASIO VL-Tone

On Tuesday, Jemma and I circuit bent this Casio VL-Tone Keyboard, unfortunately we couldn't get the parts back in the case. Today, with the help of some pliers and duck tape - I fixed it. I made a quick demo of what it sounds like here (I'm sure Jemma could have made a much better demo). Here's some more pictures:

Very very simple guide to Furby circuit bending part one.

Well, when I set up this blog I promised myself that I wouldn't just use it to point to other places on the internet that are cool or wacky or whatever, no no no, I will have actual content on my blog that's actually written by me. So this is the first bit of that. My very very easy guide to circuit bending a Furby part one. I hope someone finds something useful in it :)
